About Me

Hello, I’m Barbara — Midlife Metabolism & Strength Coach, Registered Nurse, and International Bestselling Author of Feel Great in 28!.

I support midlife women through the unique metabolic changes that occur in this season of life, including shifts in metabolism, blood sugar balance, hormones, energy, and weight. My passion for this work comes from my own journey.

After years of struggling with chronic fatigue, joint pain, brain fog, digestive issues, weight gain, and high blood pressure — and feeling increasingly unwell as I entered menopause — I realized that quick-fix diets and surface-level solutions were never going to create real health.

Everything changed when I committed to sustainable nutrition, strength-based movement, supportive lifestyle habits, and a deeper understanding of how the body adapts in midlife.

Helping Midlife Women Thrive

I transformed my health during menopause, lost weight sustainably and kept it off, normalized my blood pressure without medication, and regained my energy and zest for life. That journey led me to write Feel Great in 28!, which became an international bestseller and continues to guide women toward simple, effective wellness foundations.

Today, my work is grounded in functional nutrition principles and focuses on helping midlife women understand and address underlying metabolic patterns while building lasting habits that support energy, body composition, and long-term health — without extremes, deprivation, or quick fixes that don’t last.
